  • Dear Friends,

We thank you for your continued prayers and support for the Boston Partnership. God is clearly at work. As we prepare to move our families to start a church, there are many details yet to be settled. We will keep you informed of new developments monthly. The Partnership Team sincerely appreciates your prayers and we hope you enjoy the updates.

    What's New?

    Outside Fenway

A trip to Boston in April served as confirmation for the Wilsons and Browns that God is stirring our hearts for the city of Boston and its people. We are thrilled to see how God continues to align talented and Godly people with this Partnership. Several individuals and families have committed to moving to Boston to be a part of the new thing that God is doing in New England. We look forward to introducing you to everyone.

Our trip also confirmed that finding housing in Boston will be a significant challenge. With the cost of housing at 101% above the national average, it may take some divine intervention to make living in or near the city a reality, but we are confident that God will show up even in our housing search.

More churches and individuals are coming alongside the Partnership as prayer and financial supporters. This month will be critical as we make our first collective ask for financial support. Please pray that God will bless our fund raising efforts.

    The Movement...Who's Next?
    Isaiah

Each new person to join the movement brings unique gifts and passions. In the coming months we look forward to sharing our stories with you.

What's your name? Isaiah Robert Michael McAleese (He prefers Isaiah).

What made you decide to go to Boston? I felt God calling me to the mission field years ago when I was in high school. Then 'life' happened and seven years later I found myself divorced, depressed, and pointed in the wrong direction. I started to attend CCC's North Campus and began getting back on track with God. My life came out of the pit of depression and confusion. I found myself immersed in God's love and started to listen to Him again. I am a Photo Center Manager for Wal- Mart. I heard about the Boston Partnership and at some point between me mentioning to Hank that I was thinking of going and the two of us talking at lunch about it, I received an email from work, "Photo Center Manager Needed in Boston Area." My mouth dropped and my eyes started to water. I inquired, and the next week I received a call and was offered the position. Wow, was I overjoyed. If this wasn't God telling me to go, I don't know what was. It was amazing how everything came together so perfectly. The rest is history.

How is this increasing your faith? I've always been scared of change and never wanted to do anything out of my comfort zone. I've let life pass me by. Then I asked God to use me and everything came together. Now I'm moving to Boston, away from all my family and friends, knowing that He is going to use me somehow. I don't know what to expect, but I do know that God will always be there. I'm actually excited not knowing what's going to happen. Tomorrow will take care of itself.

Star Wars or Star Trek? Oh, man. You had to ask. Okay, I know Episode III just came out and I'm really, really excited about it. But...... I am and always will be a Trekker. Set a course for Boston.......ENGAGE!

Isaiah is a gifted musician and we look forward to him serving in our new church. He will be moving to the Boston area in June of this year. We love Isaiah's story of redemption and renewed passion for seeking God's will in his life. Please keep him in your prayers as he prepares. We look forward to telling more stories in the coming months about spritual entreprenuers who are joining the movement...are you next?

We are certain that the Boston Partnership cannot be successful without God's hand. People are always asking how they can help us. First, and most importantly, you can partner with our team by praying! You can also pass this along to anyone who you believe would like to pray for and be kept in the loop regarding the Boston Partnership. Here are some of the ways you can pray for us this month:

    -

    • That God continues to work in the hearts of the people of Boston
    • For future housing trips
    • For the transition of all who have committed to joining the movement
    • For Tim and Stephanie Hawkins who will be moving to Boston to establish five new college campus ministries alongside the Partnership
    • For successful fundraising efforts and significant financial partners
    • For even more people to join the movement to Boston
