College Courses
2007-08 Academic Year

Restoration House Ministries offers classes for Christians in New England in order to help them mature in the faith and be better prepared for service. Encountering Jesus in the Arts

In this course we will explore how Christians from across the ages and around the world have celebrated and communicated their faith in Jesus through the arts. The three sessions will include “Encountering Jesus in Poetry,” “Encountering Jesus in Painting,” and “Encountering Jesus in Cinema.” In each session we will experience first hand the way in which the church’s Christology—what we believe about Jesus—has been expressed beautifully and compellingly in artistic forms. We will share our insights into the art of others and try our hand at representing our own understanding of Jesus in creative ways.

Location:
CrossWay Christian Church
503 Main Dunstable Road

Dates:
2008: March 8, 29; April 19 [Saturdays]
